Your Privacy Rights Under Article 42-A

Under S9088, you have the right to request deletion of your personal information from all registered data brokers through a single request. This includes:

  • Delete all personal information held by data brokers
  • Opt out of future sale or sharing of your data
  • Selectively exclude specific brokers from your request
  • Track the status of your deletion request
  • Brokers must comply within 45 days
  • This service is free -- no fees to consumers

Before you proceed

Deletion is comprehensive -- brokers must delete your data from all subsidiaries, contractors, and service providers. Once deleted, brokers must continue deleting any new data they acquire about you every 45 days unless you opt back in.
